The book “Ulaaqu Learns About Rabies” can be used to support teaching about bite prevention and rabies in the 5th grade curriculum.
It is available in English, French, and Inuktitut and is distributed to 5th grade teachers during visits to schools in Nunavik.

Who do I report an infectious disease to?
A nurse can report infectious diseases in a daycare or school, to the local public health advisor.
Notifiable diseases must be reported to the Public Health department of the case's region of residence.
