June 26 to 29, 2023 (Kuujjuaq)
The Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services (NRBHSS) and Isuarsivik Regional Recovery Centre along with representatives of the Ungava Tulattavik Health Centre (UTHC), Inuulitsivik Health Centre (IHC) and the Nunalituqait Ikajuqatigiitut Inuit Association (NIIA) have worked in collaboration to create the first Regional Conference on Substance Use in Nunavik. This event, named Ungammuatuq (which means "moving forward" in Inuktitut), is open to all Nunavimmiut and aims to break the stigma around substances use and addictions and learn more about the roots of addiction.
Seats are limited, so don't miss the deadline! A random selection may have to occur if there are too many applications.
