As part of its mandate to promote the safety and well-being of Nunavik’s elders, the NRBHSS develops and delivers workshops for the public, community partners, and health and social services staff. These trainings strengthen knowledge, build practical skills, and encourage respectful, culturally grounded approaches that support elder safety across the region.
We currently offer two workshops:
![]() | Towards the wellness, respect and safety of our elders
|
![]() | A Day in the Life of an Elder
|
More workshops will be added as new tools and community needs emerge.
Our goal is to ensure that families, caregivers, service providers, and all Nunavimmiut have access to meaningful learning opportunities that strengthen the health, inclusion, and rights of elders throughout Nunavik.
