Who can report mistreatment?
Anyone who witnesses mistreatment can report it, including family members, caregivers and professionals. A person experiencing mistreatment can also file a complaint directly.

Next Steps
Every report must be evaluated. The confidentiality of the person making the report is protected, and the law prohibits any form of retaliation against them.
